Lower Utility Rates
In recent years electric rates have skyrocketed out of control. It’s time for the state to take a more aggressive approach to increase the supply of energy. I will push to expand energy generation options such as wind, solar and nuclear. I will also push to get rid of unnecessary and burdensome regulations that drive up the cost of energy.
Eliminate the Car Tax
The car tax is outdated, regressive and places an excessive burden on middle-class families while generating little revenue. I will push for its elimination.
Provide Child Care Tax Relief
Child-care is increasingly the biggest cost families have to deal with, we need to expand tax relief for parents who are taking care of young children. Being pro-family means making sure families have the resources they need to raise and care for their children.
